Today’s dynamic, complex healthcare environments need effective leaders with the knowledge and critical-thinking skills that a master’s degree provides. The online UW Master of Science in Healthcare Administration is an ideal choice for busy adults who are seeking advanced education that will allow them to move into a leadership position, but need the flexibility an online program offers.
13 Courses. 37 Credits. Online.
As a graduate of the program, you’ll acquire key competencies in healthcare administration, including financial management; strategic leadership; workforce development; communications and marketing; technology, data analytics, and information governance; and emerging trends in healthcare law and policy—empowering you to make sound decisions for your healthcare organization.
The online learning format offers working adults a flexible, convenient way to pursue an advanced degree. Because the coursework in the program is entirely online, you can study and do homework whenever you like, wherever you have an internet connection. Courses have no set meeting times and you never need to come to campus. At the same time, you will have ready access to success coaches and faculty by phone and email, and you may take advantage of on-campus resources such as career assistance and libraries.
You’ll earn your degree from the University of Wisconsin, one of the largest and most widely respected public higher education systems in the country. And the multi-campus partnership means you’ll learn from expert faculty across the UW System with strong connections to the industry.
With a UW Master of Science in Healthcare Administration, you’ll find a range of rewarding job opportunities in every area of the country and in nearly any healthcare setting—hospitals, physician’s offices, surgical centers, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, veterinary offices, correctional facilities, insurance companies, veterans affairs systems, pharmaceutical companies, and medical supply vendors. Learn more about healthcare administration careers and salaries.
